We were in a hurry, so stayed here only for 1 night, though everything was modern. The hotel had magnificent and unbeatable location short walk to the centre of town, Bairnsdale, Vic and supermarket and other eateries. It also was down the stairs from the accommodation area...

I enjoyed some creatively prepared dishes that were delightful. the staff delivered terrific service, making the visit even more enjoyable. the facilities were all in great shape, adding to the overall comfort. Plus, its central location is a huge advantage, right in the heart of a shopping area.

We had a fantastic stay at Mitchell River Tavern! The room was small, but incredibly clean and comfortable. The bed provided a great night's sleep. Despite the noise from the highway, we slept soundly. The motel's location was convenient, with a Chinese restaurant nearby. The staff was friendly and welcoming, even though we arrived late. we highly recommend Mitchell River Tavern for a short stay.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

Located on the main street and only a short walk to shops and other dining options, however, the bistro downstairs does offer food. The accommodation area is down the stairs and all areas seemed clean. However, the room is tiny and closed up with only the bed to sit on.

The noise from the outside air system and road made it hard to sleep, which is a major downside to an otherwise reasonable stay.

This hotel offers great value for money with comfortable rooms on level 1, kept very clean with good size bathroom. The breakfast boxes are a fantastic addition to the stay, perfect for a quick departure in the morning.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. the value for money was excellent - the prices were very reasonable for what you get. Secondly, the attention to detail was impressive - the rooms were exactly like in the photos, with a renovated bathroom that looked great. Lastly, the staff provided a complimentary breakfast, which was a nice touch.

I had such a comfortable stay at this hotel. The rooms were spotless and the beds were incredibly cozy. The air conditioning was a great relief on a stormy day. This hotel also had excellent security with an underground car park. Additionally, the hotel's location was fantastic, situated close to the train station and right on the main street.
